Straight Creek
Located in eastern Kentucky on 25,800 acres of land, Straight Creek is comprised of two active surface mines, an underground mine, and a highwall mine, containing 14.1 million tons of proven and probable reserves* (approximately 9 million tons** of which are fully permitted).
Currently producing at approximately 80,000 tons per month, Straight Creek is a very familiar property to the Xinergy management team as they have operated on this property at earlier points in their careers. The capacity and permitting at Straight Creek could allow for Xinergy to triple production with limited additional costs.
