Gregory L. “Bernie” Mason
President
Mr. Mason was appointed President of Xinergy Corp when he joined the company in October of 2009.
With over 30 years of experience in the coal industry, Mr. Mason was previously employed by Appalachian Fuels, LLC as Chief Operating Officer, where he was accountable for all aspects of a fully integrated mining company, including production, engineering, administration, and sales with revenues in excess of $300 million. Former positions include: Vice President of Technical Services and Business Development with AEI Resources, Inc.; President of Tennessee Mining, Inc.; and Manager of Exploration with Addington Mining, Inc.
Mr. Mason holds a BSc in Geology from Morehead State University. He currently resides in Ashland, KY with his wife of thirty-three years, Marilyn.
